ABOUT US

The Barnhart Prairie Preserve is a state protected Nature Preserve in Urbana, Illinois. 120 acres of native tall grass prairie make our unique location home to many incredible species of animals, plants, bugs, and migratory birds. We are open infrequently to the public but do have a membership program for those who would like more regular access!
