Rules + Guidelines
The Barnhart Prairie is open to the public on select days (announced via Facebook) and open for members to come daily 7am - 7pm May - October.

We take protecting the habitants of the prairie very seriously.
Please help us with our conservation and stewardship efforts!
​
No pets are allowed on the prairie including dogs and horses.
No fireworks or smoking or candles or any fires are allowed.
No vehicles, gators, or atv's on the trails
Stay on the mowed paths, do not go off the trails (very damaging for established animal habitats).
Take nothing but photos. Do not take prairie seeds or plants.
Leave nothing but footprints.

If you would like to bring your classroom, school, or camp students to our prairie please contact us for more information! We are always happy to open for educational purposes.
